MEET OUR HORSES

RHYME
Beginner Lesson Horse
Rhyme is a 20 Year old Purebred Arabian Mare and our beginner lesson horse. She stands at around 15 hands, and is so great with the kids. A farm favorite by all the students, Rhyme is much-loved. Her favorite things are treats and neck scratches.

LILY
Beginner/Intermediate Lesson horse
Lily is a 22 year old Quarter horse pony. She came to us 6 years ago terrified of humans. We assume someone mistreated her in the past. With time and love, Lily has become an incredible asset to our family and program. She can be shy, but once she warms up to you, she is very cuddly. Lily loves to stand still and not move no matter how her little riders try to encourage her. She also loves to play a game of catch me if you can in the field.

SUNSHINE
Beginner lesson pony
Sunshine is a 17 year old Shetland pony and our OG. She likes to think she runs the place, but she absolutely does not. Sunshine is the perfect mix of adorableness and sass. She's used primarily for our smaller students who may be intimidated by the larger horses. Sunshine is as chubby as she is tall, and would appreciate any kind of food you're willing to bring her. Otherwise, she can't be bothered.

Whiskey
Will be used in our lesson program for in-hand lessons
Whiskey was born and raised here on the farm and is now 2 years old. He is extremely spicy, as his name implies, and is the most personable of our four horses. He will greet you at the gate, and then try to crawl into your lap if you let him. He will be broke in spring 2025, and added to our lesson program as a intermediate pony for our smaller riders.

Unfortunately, Whiskey passed away December 2024 and will be greatly missed on the farm.

Cody
Intermediate/Advanced lesson horse
Cody is our newest arrival, joining our farm family November 2024. He's a ten year old Thoroughbred cross and will be ridden by our more intermediate/advanced students. Cody is a sweetheart and has a very loving personality. He was a trail horse with his previous owner so he has some learning to do still to be the best lesson horse he can be!

We are so excited to see what the future holds for him here at the farm!
