MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Miss Christina is the owner and head instructor at Ryker Farms LLC. She started taking riding lessons around the age of 8, and never stopped. As a child and teenager, she showed Arabian horses in many different disciplines, and learned everything she could from all of the instructors and trainers she worked beside. Having as many as six horses at her home at one time, she learned to care for them and even raise them having delivered two foals by the time she was 15.

Taking jobs at different barns in the area, she worked for sometimes only $1 per stall cleaning, but learned more education than money could ever buy. She dreamed of one day opening her own facility, but never imagined it would become a reality.

After the birth of her oldest daughter she decided to become an instructor full-time and worked for a large lesson barn in Pennsylvania where she taught beginner through advanced lessons and ran summer camps. After moving to North Carolina in 2018, she worked toward opening her own farm which finally happened in April of 2021. Since then, she has continued to grow her farm and looks forward to what the future will bring. Christina specializes in beginner riders, and believes that every student needs to learn every aspect of owning a horse, not just riding but also caring for them on a daily basis. Her lessons are geared toward making learning fun!
